Along with a summons, each prospective juror receives a personal information form and a juror qualification form. These forms may either be signed and mailed back to the clerk of court or completed online at www.sdjurors.com/signin.html. Signing and returning the acceptance of service does not require a person to serve if they have been excused by the court. If an acceptance is not signed and returned, the sheriff must deliver the summons at county expense.
